Owensville, Oh

Intersection of Main Street(US Highway 50) and Broadway Street (Ohio Highway 132/276) in Owensville.

Owensville was called Boston when it was settled, after the hometown of its settlers. Because another Boston, Ohio, already existed its name had to be changed when a post office opened in 1832. It was decided to rename the town in honor of the first postmaster, one Mr. Owens.
